Patience and persistence are the keys to helping children accept and eat a variety of foods and especially new foods. Studies show that children must have ten exposures to a food before they are willing to accept it. Selecting food and cooking for children can be a daunting task and is not for cowards! Parents and adult care-givers must take themselves out of the eating equation and accept that introducing new foods to children is easy for some and challenging for others.
